1,2,3 Grow Early Childhood Program:(2001-present): Promotes the healthy development of families with children from birth-5 years by providing free parent-participation early childhood center (with garden) and First Smiles Dental Program.
Courier Newspaper (the Camptonville Courier 1996-present): Monthly community newspaper, staffed by volunteers, free to Camptonville residents or available by subscription for $15/year. Click here to visit the Courier website.
Family Resource Center (FRC) (1996-present): located on Camptonville K-8 School site, this hub offers connection to resources, free high-speed-internet, work stations and acts as a gateway to the community-building process. Founding member of the Yuba County FRC Network,
Forest Biomass Business Center (2013-present): will include a community scale bioenergy plant and other co-located wood processing businesses producing 5 megawatts of energy and consuming over 54,000 BDT (bone dried ton) of sustainably harvested biomass annually. The Center will provide an array of community benefits for the Yuba Foothills region: improving forest and watershed health, creating an economic boost of jobs and businesses, as well as reducing the risk of catastrophic wildfire. Rural Health Advocacy Program (1996 – present): Community-based support and enrichment activities to promote healthy-happy lives, strengthen families and reduce child abuse. The 2008 Camptonville Community Health Action Plan was one accomplishment of this program.
Youth programs and opportunities have most recently included Rally Point, providing free, fun activities for 10 to 15-year-old foothill teens.
